Objective

IRS wants to make Roman Catholic fellowmen acquainted with the gospel as Luther, Calvin and many others rediscovered in the Reformation of the 16th century.

In doing so the IRS directs its attention especially to priests who have troubles with the tradition and doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church. When by sheer necessity of conscience they want to leave the church they often find themselves in a vacuum, both spiritually and socially. IRS wants to support these people to make it possible for them to get a worthy place in society and to help them to find the way to Jesus Christ. For He is the only and perfect Saviour for those who trust in Him in faith.

More largely the IRS appeals to all the members of the Roman Catholic Church. This requires the use of diverse means of information in various languages, magazines, books, folders and this internet site.

Martin Luther
(1483 - 1546)

John Calvin
(1509 - 1564)

Objective of the IRS according to the statutes:
  • To bring Roman Catholics into contact with the gospel, as was rediscovered by the Reformation.
  • To instruct in the Roman Catholic religious doctrines and the Roman Catholic Church.
  • To stimulate reflection on the key-themes of the Reformation.
