Projects

IRS is active in various countries. To give an impression of this international character we give you a brief description of some projects.

Holland
IRS organises meetings and conferences to deepen the biblical and reformed understanding, both for young and older people.

Belgium
Evangelism in Tongeren among the predominantly Roman Catholic population resulted in the existence of a small protestant parish. In support of its activities IRS provides in all necessities.

Poland
Also the Roman Catholic Church in Poland, the Roman Catholic bulwark of Europe, is confronted with people leaving the church. IRS especially sympathizes with the 21.000 priests. Many of them are desperate and have lost their trust in their church. A Polish subsidiary organisation lends them a helping hand.

90 % of the Polish population are Roman Catholics.

Spain
IRS provides for an ex-priest in Ponferrada, the North of Spain. This enables him to be active full-time as a minister for his parish and as an editor-in-chief of the magazine ECR in the Spanish language.

En la Calle Recta
In the Spanish magazine En la Calle Recta much attention is paid to the study of the Bible. In this magazine, which is especially meant for (ex) Roman Catholics, also religious questions are answered. It appears every two months and is circulated among people in almost thirty countries free of charge.
